Is this the cutter that is on backorder because of the plant closing that makes them?

The following item is currently unavailable for order due to the unexpected closing of the manufacturing facility. We are working with a new manufacturer and have an estimated shipping date of July 10.

I actually bought mine somewhere else, but LOVE it!! It did take me a few uses to get the hang of it, lol. I kept get a bend over instead of a cut, but now have that under control. I have bought soo many cutters trying to find one I love and have been very happy with this one. I do wish they would come up with some new "wonder" blades for the fiskers triple track as I love this one too but can't afford to keep myself in blades!

I have it but don't use it very often as I just can't the measurements right. When I cut an 8 1/2" piece of cardstock down to 4 1/4", the two sides are never even. I was just so frustrated I bought a 15" Carl, which I loooovvvveeee. I have a smaller 12" Carl too, and the SU portable cutter. Yep, I'm a cutting junky.

I have one and LOVE it! I agree with many of the others, a guillotine cutter is the way to go for perfect cutting every time. Plus, this one sharpens itself with each cut, so I don't see that I will need to replace/sharpen the blade. I use the Fiskars one for scoring only.
